First 2026 board meeting in Milan
The Association Internationale des Organisateurs de Courses Cyclistes (AIOCC), chaired since November by Vuelta a España general manager Javier Guillén, who succeeded Christian Prudhomme, held its first 2026 board meeting in Milan. The board members were received by Roberto Pella, president of the Lega del Ciclismo Professionistico (League of Professional Cycling). The meeting took place at the newly renovated Vigorelli velodrome. Franck Perque, two-time track cycling world champion and board member, and Yannick Talabardon, former professional cyclist, took the opportunity to explore this beautiful track. Safety was a central topic of discussion. The AIOCC currently has over 200 members, including 56 women’s races, spread across 30 countries and 5 continents.
